Research topics:

1) Development of drug delivery systems (proteins, oligonucleotides, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and antineoplastic agents) with improved bioavalability.

  • Design of  polymer conjugates, polymer micelles, microparticles & microcapsules, nanoparticles, proteoliposomes.
  • Mucoadhesive films
  • in vitro & in vivo evaluation

2) Serine proteinases and their protein inhibitors of animal and plant origin. Isolation, kinetic and thermodynamic study of specificity.
